Giving Back Through Our Marketplace

Harvard Business Professor, Michael E. Porter, defines shared value as “…policies and operating practices that enhance the competitiveness of a company while simultaneously advancing the economic and social conditions in the communities in which it operates.”

At Postal, we believe that providing shared value should be an integral component of every organization, as it positively impacts the environment and communities around the world.

As we’re continuing our efforts to execute our core value of leaving the world a better place, Felicia talks about how our Marketplace vendors are contributing to this initiative as well.

Below are just a handful of our Marketplace vendors who share our mission and give back through their businesses as well.

Fill it Forward

Surprisingly, 1 in 3 people globally don’t have access to safe drinking water. By sending a water bottle and sticker from Fill it Forward, money is donated to increase access to clean water for those who need it around the world.

You can even connect your bottle to their app to help fund giving projects and track your environmental impact. And like other reusable water bottles, the environmental impact of disposable plastic bottles is reduced.

Garden Streets

It’s estimated that unless drastic action is taken, rainforests will cease to exist in the next 100 years. Their biodiversity and wildlife is a crucial piece that holds together the well-being of millions.

For every plant from Garden Streets you send, they’ll plant a tree through One Tree Planted to fight against deforestation and improve forest habitats.

Sudara

Human trafficking and sex slavery in India is a horrific issue that doesn’t show any signs of improving. According to the Global Slavery Index, 14.2 million of the 35.8 million people enslaved throughout the world are in India.

Simply giving pajamas from Sudara helps provide women with sustainable employment and a living-wage, helping hundreds find freedom from sex-slavery.

Charity on Top

If you have a specific organization in mind, Charity on Top will have it. Their digital gift cards give the recipient the option to choose from over 1.8 million charities to donate to.

An e-gift card for donating if you will!

Help us Leave the World a Better Place

Creating more meaningful connections with prospects, customers, and employees are just part of what we aim to accomplish as a business. Sending items that create shared value through their organizational efforts  will go much further inside and outside the workplace.

By partnering with these amazing vendors, we amplify how we’re giving back to the environment and society to leave the world a better place.
